(no subject)

Seems like there have been things I've wanted to post about almost every day this past week, but apparently most of them weren't even worth remembering, much less posting about.

A couple of things were though!

Starting with the wonderfulness that is Highwayman, the 'bonus' story in maderr's book Regency. What a treat to find that the 'bonus' story is fully half of the book! Woot, new story!!! And what a story! Lots of fun characters, mysteries abound, and of course, the Happily-Ever-After! Wheeee!!! Everyone should run to their neighborhood Lulu or Amazon and pick up a copy today. *grins*

Next, Memorial Day. I'm not personally doing anything in particular to acknowledge the day, but I did help Maria get ready for her part. Between herself, her Dad, and her siblings, they represent veterans of 4 different wars: WWII, Vietnam, Gulf, and Iraq. They hopefully all marched today together in their hometown parade. Her dad was probably going to ride in a car, if he felt well enough to go. Hopefully he did. Her sister just got back from Iraq yesterday, so it's all a pretty big deal for them.
