After spending 20 minutes with one cat and the shedding wand, I'm imagining some furry humanoid alien species with all males, who procreate by means of 'shedding' their young in the spring. Hm, maybe like marsupials, but instead of growing in the pouch, they just latch on and nestle in the father's winter hair, getting and giving warmth.

Perhaps this would make more sense if you could see the couple dozen 'kittens' playing in the breeze in the driveway, like little tumbleweeds. Or tribbles.

Actually, this whole thing is feeling more tribble-like. Ah, well, m-preg is not really my thing, anyway. ^____^

Absolutely! He's a shorthair, but I'm always amazed he's not bald after. I could have kept going, too, and pulled twice as much. He was actually put out that I stopped. He loves rough pettings.^_^

Aim? I'm only around for about 35-40 mins, anyway, but I'll be on.

Every time I brush my cat these days I always have to ask her "Why aren't you bald? I've brushed off enough hair to make another three cats!"
